Introduction

Listening to a podcast from Oprah Winfrey created this journey. I remember hearing, 'is your job your life's purpose'? I lived with this question for over 20 years! And it came to me 1 morning.

The Jiwa series. 

I watched/been to many talks, listen to presentations, observed people, and tried to understand the 'language' of delivery. Personally to me, I always found something missing. I could see hard work put in, practiced, rehearsed, memorized, scripted, I've done this before delivery from a lot of people. Don't get me wrong, they were good at their work. However, I was not contented because, at the same time, I had this fuel burning for more. I decided to put my 23 years of work into something, and I was ready to be a part of a larger journey. I looked into myself, what was I good at? What are my skills? What is my craft?

The answer came to me. Its the words you don't use, its the look you give, its the time in between, its the body language, its the tone( what are you really saying) its the way you tell the story, its the way you uplift and its the way you command the room!

I found my special ingredients.

Outcome

At the end of this program, participants will be able to:

- Connect: Have you ever delivered a presentation but felt no 'soul' at all. You did well, but something is just missing?
- Purpose: A lot of times, we deliver because we think it is the requisite, it is the job. Find the purpose of why you do what you do.
- Dramatic: Learn to work with your energy. Skills such as when to be 'high' 'low' 'loud' 'soft' will be something very handy to you.

Know how to put your message across so that it comes out as a story being told. Delivery is not just about words, it's about the main language, the body. Learn to use your body to communicate.

I am an advocate for 'Information should be Transformation'. We live in a world where information is easily accessible, but it does nothing to us.. I find it a waste. I am a Diploma holder and I come with a river of expertise. I have been in the education sector for 24 years. Being in the education sector is broad, I do wear many hats. I started my career in Singapore. When I returned to Malaysia, I found language and speaking a problem. My founder and I created a program to address this issue. Hence, I started training teachers to work on their speaking. I have trained over 150 teachers. Along the way, I learned too. I became confident in Speaking, Presenting, Team Building, and Communication and founded the Jiwa Series just this year.  I decided to take my expertise to the next level by doing Train the Trainer in 2021. I have also done a few HRDF courses like What is Personal Branding, Interviewing Skills and Powerful Presentation Skills. All of these areas of learning in enhanced even more as I am Speech and Drama trained by Trinity Guildhall. I add a lot of creativity to my work.
